Hey there! My name is Ali and I am currently staying in New York taking some time away from home to see and explore everything this state has to offer, make some friends, learn a little, and figure some things out about myself even.
I can still get lost on the subways, but it's all an adventure to me! Seeing something new is all I aim for.
I am open to everything, and to everyone. Your appearance, sexuality, accent, anything that makes you who you are happy being, no one should judge your happiness. It's also a great time to talk and join ideas or thoughts together from a different perspective.
My humor is a bit sarcastic, and maybe a little off at times but I'm hoping to find people that can laugh with me (or lend me better material)! I have lived in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and now New York, state swapping is becoming a favorite of mine.

I want an opportunity to meet new people and get out of my shell. I am leaving New York in less than two weeks and have not had a single chance to really see the city due to work and my own introversion. I'm kind of trying to kick myself out there to meet people and have some fun before I miss my chance.

I will listen to any music that is out there (Including country from time to time). Dead Kennedys, Sufjan Stevens, Flying Lotus, Leon Bridges, these are just a few favorites.
I am lacking in some movies, but I love to watch any and all of them. I like the filming style of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
I am sadly not an avid reader, recently have been trying to change that with a dive into J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Hobbit'. I am interested in comics, any recommendations for a good book on philosophy I would gladly accept!

My friends and I drove to Pensacola, FL to celebrate a birthday. One of these nights we went to the beach incredibly late. But we went, we did spontaneous yoga, and the stars that night had something so beautiful about them. It was just an experience that was so amazing with such a great feeling of connection to the people around me.

I will learn anything there is! Learning a drawing technique, or an instrument would be great. I've always had a fascination with the cello.
I can share my story, but I am more than happy to share a meal, a coffee, I found a place on Bedford called the Bean, recommend that place a lot, or anywhere you prefer! I can share any help you may need around the house, too!
