Hello!
My name is Alexandra, I´m married, 51 years old, have two grown up daughters who live with us every now and then and a cat called Hermann.

When I was a child, I moved houses every four years with my family because my father was in the German Air Force. I spent part of my childhood in England (Leicestershire). We settled in Bremen at the end of the eighties.

I now live in a little village near Doerverden

In my spare time I take care of a couple of thousand honeybees and our cat Herman, dig up the flowerbeds in our garden and I really enjoy working out at the gym.

I love meeting new people, making new friends all over the world, am open minded, honest and love being active. I enjoy every day, especially in these times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I consider Couchsurfing a great possibilty to get out, open up and see the world through the eyes of my hosts/guests and discover things and places off the beaten tourist track.
In return I love having guests in our house, making it a safe and comfortable place. We have had so many guests before I knew of Couchsurfing. It is a pleasure and an honour to get to know people and their stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met great people in Scotland just after a car accident on the last day of our holiday. The helpfulness and friendliness was unbeatable and touched my heart.

Great trips alone and with family to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, United States, Scotland, Finland and England.

I took a dog sled ride in Finland to see Father Christmas :)
