Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need a warm place to sleep when it's too cold to set up a tent in my travels! I have explored a lot of the western US (mostly CO and UT) but would like to see the rest of it.

I love John Irving, he is my favorite author. I also like Bill Bryson.

I love country music, bluegrass, and folk. But will listen to anything. I also like to sing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have climbed Kilimanjaro, thru hiked all of Maine on the AT, and have traveled through Mexico, London, Ireland, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Thailand, and Singapore.

I can also weld, which I think is pretty cool.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach! I can give skiing and nordic skiing lessons, can help with construction projects, and can teach gluten free cooking.
My skill set includes laying bricks, tile masonry, painting, construction, welding, and light carpentry. I'd be happy to teach or help with any projects you may have!
