Among my passions, traveling I have to say is near the top! I enjoy learning about different cultures, and I love learning about what makes us all different and the same at the same time. We can read about it all we want in books, watch movies and documentaries on outside lands but I believe the best way to learn is to get out of our comfort zone and actually go out and DO.

For the next 5-6 months, I will be backpacking along with my travel partner in and around Western Europe. I bring with me only a bag full of clothes and my camera that I cannot travel anywhere without. I'm excited to start on this path full of adventure and new experiences, and most definitely looking forward to making connections with people I meet!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music ranging from the Blues to Salsa. I'm always looking for new music and artists to listen to! My favorite types of movies are thrillers, horror, and inspirational and independent. I also am a HUGE fan of documentaries. Genre of books I prefer are Self-Help and autobiographical/memoirs. Currently reading: Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes.
