Overview
About Me
Curios, outgoing and a little quirky. My goal is to experience new cultures, new foods, and new places and learn. People tell me I'm interesting, which I choose to take as a compliment rather than assume it's an euphemism for weird. Well, you'll see for yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's one of the crowning achievements of the sharing economy, and I love the idea of this network of people that are united by some of the best sentiments in humanity: curiosity, openness and hospitality. I'm new to this, but I have friends that are bona fide members and are extremely happy to be so. It may sound naive to say that strangers are just friends that I haven't met yet, but I think everyone has the potential to share a part of him or herself and couchsurfing seems to attract people that have a lot to share. I hope to be one of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I became a paid journalist in a matter of months after starting it as a hobby. And my first article got picked up and published worldwide, from Brazil to the United States.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to make apple cider. I have batches in various states of completion in my basement right now. Also, elderflower syrup, jams and marmelades, and my own bizzare but delicious pesto recipe made with wild garlic.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a bit of insight onto life in Eastern Europe and hopefully a bit of stimulating conversation about economics, current affairs, movies and wine (which I unapollogetically love).
