Hello everyone, I'm Alexandra, but you can call Alex)

I'm a travel addict with some luggage behind my back) Most friends say I'm communicative and always nice to people around me. I was born in a duo laguage region in Russia (Tatarstan) and found to be welcome to both Tatarstan and Russian culture. Then I moved to St.Petersburg (the most beutiful city of Russia) to study Astonomy at a Math Department of the oldest russian university (St.Petersburg State Unversity). Even at school I've found, that I really good at teaching math for middle and advanced level pupils, so I continued being a teacher at the university.
I don't travel alone (usually with mom, best friend or boyfriend).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I moved to St.Petersburg (the second biggest city, large european port) that is 200-300 km from Finland and other Baltic sea region countries, I couldnt resist travelling: France, Italy, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Turkey, Czech Republic, Austria, Spain. I don't wanna stop, more than that I want to try new experience together with CouchSurfers.

Interests

I like long walks in parks, swimming, trying new food and wine. Try to party with my friends when it's possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Don't really have time to read right now because of lots of work as both analyst and math teacher, so ...
But when we talk about movies and TV series I have plenty of them behind my back) Mostly detective and situation comedy series: The big bang theory (I'm an astronomy scientist, damn it), How I met your mother, Scrubs, Bones, Mad Man, Sherlock, Grey's Anatomy, House M.D. and many others.

I'm an opera and ballet girl (it's hard not to be when you live in St. Petersburg - cultural capital of Russia). But nothing can stop me from listening to rock music in between (mostly worldwide famous bands: The Who, The Doors, Queen, White Stripes, Hendrix etc).
Me and my bf love shooting and usually spend couple hours a month in shooting gallery… but hey, don't worry we're pacifists)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The situation where I manage to work in a bank, teach children math and travel is already a thing, don't you think so?)
