About Me

Solo traveling through SE Asia! Swinging into Australia on a work holiday visa to save up to travel more. My next mission is volunteer work in Nepal.

A little about me, I'm a 24 year old American. I've always had a curiosity for the unknown, sometimes dark side of life. I believe that only true light can be seen from darkness. Growing up I always wanted to work in a developing country, I don't have a specific image of where or what but the image in my mind is just of creating genuine happiness for those who need it. This desire has always been there growing up and for 6 years after high school I struggled to find a place for me in my community. I would do a lot of volunteer work, which was truly what made me happy. But besides that, my life just wasn't what I wanted. So 8 months ago I booked a flight to Thailand, having no plans and left. I sold my apartment, my belongings, and left. I have had such an amazing time traveling southeast Asia although I realized that finding that right opportunity takes some work. So I decided to get a working holiday visa for Australia and start searching for other opportunities throughout the world where I can volunteer.
