I’m Alex, 24, French-Austrian, based in Paris. I am a recent law graduate and currently president of CliMates, an international youth-led think-and-do tank on climate change. I also have a strong interest for human rights generally, and more specifically for digital and minority rights.

I love trying out good food, going out, walking through unknown cities. I am also a musical-fan (and fond of karaokes), as well as a dance lover. I enjoy discussing news ideas, new models, ways of living in other countries, etc. And to fool around too.

I very much like the concept of solidarity advocated by couchsurfing. I love meeting new people and discovering a place through their eyes, and I think it's great to return the favor as a host.

兴趣

I love dancing and I could do it all the time. On a daily basis, I like to read, watch movies and series, and to meet up with friends, talk about our lives and the world in general. I think it’s fascinating to discover different path and learn from people's experiences. I love to travel obviously, and discovering new cultures.

I am rather sporty, and I love to try out news things. I have some basis in windsurfing, canyoning, climbing, and I would love to learn diving and flying (yup on my own).

For dancing purposes, I am love hip-hop/house music. I also recently discovered the electro/soul vibe of Nicolas Jaar and Nicola Cruz. I am also a musical junkie, and I have seen most french musical so far, as well as several english ones from Broadway (Hamilton, Chicago, Finding Neverland, Lion King, Kinky Boots, Wicked...). As much as I am concerned, life should be a musical.

As for movies, it is honestly very diverse. I enjoy those who make me think and questions things (like Mr Nobody, Welcome to Gattaca), historical ones, those involving all kind of fantasy and magic, or science fiction (Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, Star Wars, you name it). And I love watching series like OITNB, GoT, The Good Place, Sense 8, Orphan Black, Black Mirror, Dear White People, Scherlock, Wyonna Hearp, The 100...)

Books. Way too many. I love books from fantasy, magical ones to biographies, psychological, philosophical, manifests, peotry... Let's discuss all this when we meet ;) The very last Ive been fond of is The Wheel of Time though. And I also like mangas.

I can do crepes, quiche and mojitos very well (doesn't have to be all at the same time).
Also Im French, I just know how to cook ;)
My sense of humor is also an option.
