Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need to train my foreign languages and I've always dreamed of learning more about other cultures. Also I think the best way to understand culture is to live some time with locals.

Interests

I'm really keen on art, legends and mythology, I'm into learning about secret illnesses. I collect postcards with mermaid image.
So, as you can see, I love mysteries. =)
My hobbies are reading, cross-stitching, taking photos of nature.
I want to try some extreme sports one day.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love psyhology, adventure and phylosofy books such authors as Tolstoy, Gugo and others.
There're tracks of different genres in my mp3 player, but in case I'm a classic music lover, though it had never touched my soul in the way it does modern music.
I think there are very few good films in the cinema these days. I love "Cloud Atlas", "Book Thief", "Les Misérables", "Escape of Louis XVI" and others.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn more about native culture of travellers, their interests and town/country features, their native language. It would be great if you can teach me some words or phrases on your language. With pleasure I'll tell you about Russian, Russia and Russian culture. If there will be all necessary products, I will cook maybe blini, borsh or sth.
