My boyfriend Stefan and I left our jobs in April 2015 to cycle from Styria, Austria to Bangkok, Thailand.

I have been on Couchsurfing some years ago, first of all for fun (I also hosted some people for fun and showed them around in Vienna), and also because I was studying and thought it was a good idea to travel around without spending a lot and meeting new people. :-)
