I'm living life, working and enjoying the in between bits.

ABOUT ME

I enjoy all manner of activities, learning and discovering are great, but I'm always willing to sit for a cup of tea and a chat or a movie.
I try to be laid back and easygoing about life in general as stressing only really hurts in the end. I like to think I have a good and varied sense of humor and can get along with most people because laughter is what makes the world go round.
Really I think I'm a pretty normal girl who just wants to see the world and enjoy my time here.
I don't know, check out my references (not really the negative one, that whole situation makes me sad, and if you have questions I'll be honest with you) or send me a message, even if it's just for a travel related chat.

PHILOSOPHY

I plan to first learn everything I can about the world so that I can take that knowledge and, in my own way, make it a bit better.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy surfing and can only imagine I will enjoy hosting once I get a chance. But I also enjoy just meeting up for drinks should anyone be looking for some company on their travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been an amazing way to see Europe! My numerous great experiences far outweigh the one nightmare, and I'm so glad that I decided to try it. And now I'm excited to begin hosting!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Books: mainly historical fiction (bit of a sci-fi / fantasy dork as well)
Movies: any that are well thought out, from action to romance to thriller. But I do find a great many to be fairly predictable which will mean that my attention wanders.
Music: anything and everything. And always happy to hear something new. (I pride myself on this fact.)

So many things! I've seen deserts, oceans, mountains, plains, forests, births and deaths, butterflies pop out of cocoons, farmers harvest their labors, and lots more. And I can't wait to extend that list.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Oh boy. I'm not really sure for what type of things you're looking. I can teach you new recipes. I can tell you all about Michigan, having lived here for the better half of my life. From the agriculture and economy to the beaches to what exactly makes someone a "Yooper".
As for learning, I'll take whatever you have to offer.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I can offer a futon or pull out couch in the living room, evenings and weekends (when I'm not working) I'll be happy to interact and entertain. Other than that your welcome to my cereal and tea and whatnot, and I'm right in the middle of Lansing by old town so plenty transport and places to walk to nearby. I know that nudism is for some reason kind of a thing on here. And I'm not really in to it. So if my guests could please keep decent in company I'd appreciate it.
