ABOUT ME I love adventure and spontaneity. My heart belongs to traveling as well as helping others, I have a restless soul and I love experiencing different cultures and expanding my horizons. I currently live in Sydney, Australia and I absolutely love the cultural vibes here. I've lived all over California starting off in Granite Bay, where I was born, then Chico, where I went to college, followed by San Francisco and finally sunny San Diego. Also, a huge part of what defines me as a person was my time spent living abroad in Madrid. I love the Spanish language and culture and hope to travel someday to South America. My heritage is interesting as I am half Swedish and half Brazilian (my mom's side is from Sweden and my dad's from Brazil.) I have traveled to Sweden but I am still waiting for the day that I will have the opportunity to explore Brazil! I love sharing stories about my travels as well as listening to those told by others. I love life and I plan to make the most of it! Let's go conquer the world, the possibilities are endless. :)

PHILOSOPHY One should always be drunk. That's all that matters... But with what? With wine, with poetry, or with virtue, as you chose. But get drunk. :) It is my goal to experience as much as humanly possible in this world. And never forget to smile, it's contagious. :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I have not hosted any surfers at my place because I am in a sharehouse and don’t have the space at the moment but I hope I can host in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My friends have all had wonderful experiences while using it to travel throughout Europe. I'm looking forward to getting more involved in couchsurfing and meeting great people from all over the world. I am excited to experience new cities and to make unforgettable memories! My ideal host is somebody who is laid-back, knows the ins and outs of the area and can recommend things to do that somewhat fit my interests.

Reading is one of my favorite pastimes and I will read any book. My favorites are about traveling, especially The Alchemist.

The most amazing experience of my life was the year I lived and studied abroad in Madrid, Spain. I met some of the most amazing people and was able to travel, experience and learn more in that year than my entire life combined. Living in Madrid was the spark that ignited my burning desire to travel and now I am determined to experience and travel the world until I have seen it all!
