ABOUT ME

I'm a bit of a contradiction; I constantly leave my comfort zone because the results are usually worth the heartache. I love making people happy, whether that's by cooking them a great meal, listening to their problems, or sharing my favorite people/places/things in life. I like the idea that people know that they can count on me.

I just graduated from University, but am not quite ready to grow up. I will soon be leaving Sweet Home Alabama to au pair in Germany, but I hope to get a little traveling done in between.

Interests

I'm both an extrovert and introvert. I'm perfectly happy staying at home and reading, but I also love socializing and making connections. I love finding out just how many interesting people there are in the world, and the chance conversations that happen on a bus or a train or in a bar. I like hearing multiple and multicultural perspectives on the same issue. I also love hosting people-- making sure everyone is comfortable and happy and well fed. I'm a decent cook and a more than decent baker.
