ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly person. I enjoy getting to know others and cherish my closest friendships. A few interests of mine are Dance (modern, ballet), skiing (I grew up in the mountains of Idaho), cafe breaks (yes, a lover of well-made coffee) casual bike rides, hikes, music festivals, dinner parties, good company, night life! the list goes on :). I believe I'm easygoing, or at least try to be :) as I've learned this past year that traveling is best for the lighthearted!

This year I'm taking time off of school to discover the world around me. Traveling throughout Italy and Germany, and maybe a visit to Switzerland!

At Western Washington University I'm studying Dance and journalism. One day I hope to own my own cafe and give back to the community through such serivce.
As for now... so excited to meet people from different cultures and live from place to place!

Interests

My biggest interest is people. I truly enjoy getting to know others :). I study dance and couldn't live without it! Live music, casual dinners, good company, coffee :), skiing, hiking to lakes!, and bon fires are some of my favorite things in this world. Traveling has begun to be influential in my life. I love to relax, read a good book, yoga, and the outdoors...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sawtooth Music Fest '10 (a folk festival in Idaho) a small group of friends and I woke up with the sun- hiked up to a hidden hot springs. We bathed, soaked up the sun, and got to know each other better for 4 hours or so... there was nothing in that moment I needed, but to just be there. Great way to start off the day!

Bon Iver performed at Sasquatch this past year, 2012, he took my heart away. The entire audience of hundreds were all brought together on the same level. At night, wide open landscape, it was amazing.

Almost everyday I realize how lucky I am... to be fortunate, have the family I have, my health and talents, the true friends I've acquired, and able to acknowledge all the beautiful things in this world.
