About Me

I like to travel... a lot. My dream when I was little was to be a citizen of the world- that is, obtain citizenship in every country. Cinephile, but I also love music, books, writing, drawing, learning, playing... I'm a student of cinema in Paris, aiming to work in sound engineering.

You can never stop learning. May you stay forever young! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've mostly hosted so far, seeing as it's been difficult to travel much lately, but all of my experiences have been absolutely wonderful- I don't regret a single one, and have made some truly wonderful friends!

I've surfed a bit, and hosted a lot, but would definitely like to get more involved- this is a great way to travel, meet people, and exchange ideas, philosophies and cultures.

I like anything fun and creative; these days I'm mostly working on quite a few film projects, and going to movies and concerts.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Doors! Love a variety of music from blues/jazz to new-wave, rock to punk to classical… I'm pretty open.
I generally like to read those absurdly big books that weigh down your bag, take weeks to finish, and leave you with the sense of having lost a best friend when you finish.
I can't even go into movies right now… you can't ask that of a cinema student. Like music, my cinematic interests vary according to periods of time- right now I'm discovering contemporary asian cinema (Korean cinema's current boom!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught english in an elementary school in Ecuador. It was a very remote community and I learned so much there, and fell in love with the culture.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love games and and would love to teach some or to learn new ones (especially cards, board games and cadavre esquis). This also includes magic tricks (I have an excellent trick involving two wine corks (of course this means drinking at least two bottles beforehand).
