ABOUT ME

I'm English, born in London, but I've spent most of my life abroad living in China, Japan, Belgium and most recently Indonesia.

I'm studying Physics and Philosophy at uni and other interests include Operetta (and singing and music in general), Scouting, and travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to meet new people in London through meet-ups. Afternoon tea or picnics would be great! I may also be doing some travelling in the UK during holidays and would love to CouchSurf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some lovely people in Colmar, France during a Couch Surfing Picnic (Summer 2011). I'm really hoping to attend some similar events in my home town of London.

I haven't hosted or surfed yet but have heard only positive things from several friends and can't wait to get started!

Interests

Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, playing the violin, reading, learning languages (I speak french reasonably well), eating good food from different countries, Physics (and Maths), Philosophy, Pilates and of course travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am completely mad about Harry Potter and Doctor Who. Otherwise I watch little TV`but I read a lot. As I am studying most of my time is taken up by books on physics and philosophy. Currently however, I am reading Tolstoy's Anna Karenina and rereading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's (Sorcerer's) Stone, but in French to improve my language skills.
