I've spent the last 9 years living and working in Aotearoa New Zealand as a Field Ranger - from New Zealand's northern most island; Raoul Island, right down to the wild mountains of the West Coast of the South Island.
I've just made a big move and resigned from my job (even though I loved it!), so I can move back home to the place I grew up - Australia.
But first... a European trip is on the cards!
I've never been anywhere in Europe before, so I would love to meet some locals and learn about your country 🙂

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet people from all around the world and learn about different cultures!
Even though I enjoy alone time, I realise I feel the most fulfilled when I connect with people and share a good chat 🙂

Coffee and cafes: I love finding a good coffee and a bite to eat in a cute or quirky cafe and just watching the world go by.
Music: really loving New Zealand reggae at the moment!
Surfing/body boarding: learning to surf, but I've been body boarding for years

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailing as crew on a small and leaky Polynesian style catamaran from New Zealand to Vanuatu.
10 days on the open ocean, with a crew of 3, and my cabin slowly filling with water! It was an interesting experience 🙃
