About Me
I am a French engineer in environmental biotechnology and I happen to be travelling here and there sometimes :) I now work as an agronomist in Kenya for a French company dealing in organic solutions
I started a road trip in September 2023 across Europe to see friends and make new ones, and it went really great ! I started hitchhiking and used an Interrail pass and Couchsurfing was a big part of the experience. Now that I live in Nairobi, I can host people again, so feel free to ask :)
I speak english and french perfectly and can handle some german so I look forward to talking with you !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have used Couchsurfing both for staying over when I was abroad and for hosting people when I lived in France. All of my experiences were great and with some of the people I saw, we even managed to hang out again on a later occasion !

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of different music, but my preferred genres are rap (French and US mostly, but I'm always up for suggestions in your language), rock (90's early 00's) and French popular songs. I made my own musical culture from scratch since my parents don't really listen to any, so forgive any blind spot I have haha.
I am not really a movie/series person : but here again, I'm uncultured and it shows. Recently I really liked Dark, Sex Education and Barbenheimer
I read quite a lot when I have time : I have a preference for classics, history and fantasy. I also read a few mangas and I am very interested in poetry, mostly French but I'll look into any language I can understand
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent an couple of months in Bucharest (Romania) for an internship where I was sharing a flat with a friend. Some time after we arrived, we had a 5 days break and decided over the night we'd road-trip to Istanbul : sudden but beautiful trip ! It was my first spontaneous travel, and I think it was not as much the trip than what it unlocked in my mind that matters : traveling is food for the soul. I wish I had known about Couchsurfing back then !
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a very curious person who likes to learn about pretty much anything. My philosophy is that every one you meet can teach you something and you should benefit from that. At the same time, it means I can teach something to anyone, as long as they are open to conversation obviously. What will we teach each other ? No idea yet, but we'll find out when we meet :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring positivity, stories, life experience, talks about science, books, the world, a lot of non material things in short. I might also drop by with a couple beers to help us remake the world, and I might cook dinner ... Which could be good or not, I'm not a great cook haha !
