About Me

I am a french student who likes travelling. In the past few years, I've been to Turkey, Hungary, Spain, United States, Portugal, China... I am very open-minded and both like enjoying a nice peaceful rest or a challenging camping/road-trip experience during vacations. I am very fond of music, I can sing and I play the guitar and some piano. Keen of sports, I've practiced plenty of them since I was a child, judo, athletics, tennis, table tennis, volley-ball, rugby... but I'm not especially good in any of them :p I like variety and trying new stuff. On the more professional aspect, I am very fond of entrepreneurship and everything that relates to new businesses, new ecosystems, solutions for humanity etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people, I often feel like I am always meeting the same kind of people during my studies, so I like some fresh air and getting to know different people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a bit of an old-school music lover. Not especially keen on new stuff, I'd rather listen to some old-style pop / rock / jazz. Favorite bands: Pink Floyd, Queen, The Beatles. I especially like author-composer, such as Jamie Cullum, Paolo Nutini, Charlie Winston, Adele... Actually, there is not a lot of music I dislike, I am very open.
I am not much of a movie fan. My favorites though:
- on the fantasy side: the lord of the rings, avatar
- on the futuristic side: interstellar
- on the realistic side: django unchained, fight club...
I used to read a lot when I was younger. I've kind of lost the habit for a few years now but want to get back to it.
Something really worth I've read: Zero to One (Peter Thiel), Le Transhumanisme et l'économie collaborative (Luc Ferry)
Some amazing fantasy books I've read: The Name of the Wind (Rothfuss), The Gentlemen Bastards (Lynch), The Sword of Truth(Goodkind), Foundations (Asimov).
Currently trying to read on new stuff such as Blockchain with Blockchain Revolution (Tapscott), some more old stuff with Blue Ocean Strategy or not so new stuff (Personal Development) with Straight From the Guts (Welch)...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess I've never done something really amazing.
Some curious facts about myself:
- I finished my non-professional musical studies in both Guitar and music theory when I was 14
- I have done a during a one-year officer military training, learning about military practices, rescuing, firefighting...

Teach, Learn, Share

I cannot really teach anything to someone at this stage in my life, maybe just some mathematics, but I guess that's not the point ;)
I am indeed in a learning phase, anything you have to share about your life experience is worthy for me, especially stuff concerning personal development, passions...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my music, my laughter (which is apparently contagious :) ), my passion for new things and open mindedness =)
