Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm trying to reach Australia by land and sea from France, and I want to meet people from all walks of life so that I can make new acquaintances along the way, learn the basics of new languages, discover fascinating cultures and have enriching exchanges with locals to get a glimpse of the world without the prism of traditional tourism.

Essayant de rejoindre l'Australie par voie terrestre et maritime depuis la France, je souhaite rencontrer des personnes de tous horizons pour faire de belles rencontres sur le chemin, apprendre les bases de nouvelles langues, découvrir des cultures passionnantes, avoir des échanges enrichissants avec des locaux pour avoir un aperçu du monde sans le prisme du tourisme classique.

Interests

Generally speaking, I'm very open-minded and I love satisfying my curiosity by meeting new people and discovering the diversity of cultures, ways of thinking and living. On a more personal level, I enjoy working with my hands and aspire to do a bit of everything when the opportunity arises. So I like to develop my artistic side by learning new skills and techniques (drawing, sculpture, DIY, etc). Unfortunately I've never taken the time to get into music, but it's something I really want to do (especially learning to play the guitar).
I'm a bit of a sportsman, so I love playing badminton or going hiking to get lost in nature and enjoy the beauty the world has to offer.
