Hello! My name is Alex. I'm 26 (1994) and I'm from Sintra, Lisbon, Portugal.
I recently finished my architecture masters in Instituto Superior Técnico, in Lisbon.
I'm a friendly person, easy to deal with, who likes to meet new people everywhere I go.

There are 5 main things that I really love:
- architecture (obvisouly)
- traveling (by myself or with friends)
- hip-hop (american specially. Kendrick is king. Eminem is God)
- football (Benfica is my team and my addiction)
- cinema (can talk for hours about Tarantino's movies)

Two things that I really don't like:

- When people (specially americans) call soccer to football: come on guys, "our" football is way older then "your" american football. Show some respect and change the name of the second one instead

- When people confuse Portugal with Spain: we are completply different (although we have some similarities in the language specially) and no, Despacito is not a portuguese song

That's pretty much me!
P.S: I love american people and their culture. It was just a joke 😂

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Starting November, and during 10 months, I'm going to be travelling around south america. After that I'm going to do some volunteer work in Costa Rica and in the United States.
I'm on Couchsurfing because I think that's the best way to meet new people and change knowledge while travelling, which is perfect for someone like me, who will be travelling alone for a long time.
I'm new here so I don't have any experience yet. But I hope to change that soon!

Breaking Bad; Sons of Anarchy; The Wire and Prison Break are my favourite shows.
