I am a Historian, finishing my doctorate. I'm 31 years old, I've been using Couchsurfing for a while and it's always been really good.

I was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. I have enjoyed traveling since I was very young, whether for fun or research.

I'm easy going, I like to walk around the cities I know, feeling "immersed" in the place.

I read a lot of History and Literature books. My favorite novel is Anna Karenina, but I really like Clarice Lispector, Gabriel Garcia Marquéz, Dostoiéviski... I research contemporary Latin America and Human Rights, so I read books in this area.

I really like some travel experiences, like climbing a volcano in Chile was incredible, cycling down a mountain in Bolivia, train trips through Europe.

But it was also great to live for a few months more peacefully in Washington and Buenos Aires.
