About Me

Hi! I’m Alexandria, but friends usually call me Alex.

I’m currently in Houston but planning a move back to Colorado soon, so I’m spending some time in the Denver area while figuring out where I’ll land long-term. I actually grew up in Colorado, so it feels a bit like coming home.

I’m an easygoing and respectful guest. I keep spaces clean, communicate clearly, and I’m very independent. I usually spend most of my time out exploring neighborhoods, walking around the city, checking out coffee shops, parks, and local spots, so I’m rarely just hanging around the house.

I’ve lived in a few different places (including some time in Europe), so I really enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and hearing their stories.

A few things about me:
• I’m a big foodie and love trying new restaurants
• I enjoy exploring cities on foot or by bike
• I’ve traveled solo quite a bit and like connecting with interesting people along the way
• I’m curious about different cultures and perspectives

I also have a dog named Sheba who is basically my little adventure buddy.

Right now I’m reconnecting with Colorado and exploring Denver while I figure out my next chapter. Couchsurfing felt like a fun way to meet locals and experience the city through real people instead of just passing through.

Thanks for reading, and I’m always happy to swap travel stories or treat my host to coffee or a meal as a thank you for hosting 🙂

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m currently based in Houston but planning a move back to Colorado, so I’m spending time in the Denver area while figuring out where I’ll land long-term.

Couchsurfing seemed like a great way to meet locals and experience the city through real people instead of just passing through as a tourist. I like the idea of sharing stories, exploring new places, and making genuine connections along the way.

Interests

Long walks and exploring cities on foot, biking around town, coffee shops, great food and hidden local restaurants, travel and meeting people from different cultures.

I love being outdoors (parks, trails, mountains), music and DJ culture, learning new things, and good conversations about life, psychology, and different perspectives.

I’m also a huge animal lover and spend a lot of time with my dog Sheba, who’s basically my little adventure partner.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I’m always happy to share travel stories and what I’ve learned from living in different places. I can also share tips about solo travel, staying adaptable, and seeing new cities with curiosity instead of just rushing through them.

Learn: I love learning about different cultures, languages, and the way locals experience their city. I’m always curious about people’s favorite spots, hidden gems, and the little things that make a place special.

Share: Good conversation, a relaxed and respectful presence, and appreciation for the space I’m staying in. I’m also happy to share meals, coffee, or groceries as a thank you for hosting.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a respectful and independent guest. I keep shared spaces clean and I’m usually out exploring during the day or evening.

I’m always happy to treat hosts to coffee, a meal, or groceries as a thank you, and I enjoy good conversation, travel stories, and learning about people’s favorite places in their city.
