Overview
About Me
If there is one thing that is definitely characteristic of me, it's the fact that I am and always have been an enthusiast.
Upon discovering something I like, be it a person, an activity, a place, a taste; I give it my whole attention and go all in for the entire experience.
I'm the kind of person that's always on the lookout for improvements and new ways to add spice to life, trying to avoid complacency and not get muddled up in the status-quo.
The most important parts of my life are health & sports, friends & ideas, family, and helping others help themselves. If I can inspire anyone to make a change for the better, I daresay I'm content.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The primary reason I'm on here is because I enjoy meeting new people, especially locals for a better connection with the place I'm visiting. I have met locals through meetups and crossfit communities in places other than my hometown, but I believe that living together with someone builds a different connection, hopefully a more trusting one.
Interests
Apart from meeting new people, sharing ideas and interests, my interest and hobbies are: Crossfit & weightlifting, travel (car, motorcycle, train), trekking, all sports, wandering around cities on foot without a map, coffee, reading, and so many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
About a year ago, I decided I wasn't going to let fear have a say in my decisions. Since then, I have quit smoking (I was a heavy smoker for more than 10 years), quit my unfulfilling job, started sports (freeletics and crossfit), made a ton of new friends by being more open and going solo to events such as meetups, bought a motorcycle (then crashed and repaired it), skydived, went on spontaneous city breaks to countries in Europe which I haven't visited yet, and many more small but meaningful things.
All this was possible because of one apparently small change in mindset: if I fear doing something, then that's exactly what I must do.
