To create positive impact along my way, trying hard to get inspired and to inspire others around me, learning the best from each and being as open as possible to seize the opportunities offered by the moment.

ABOUT ME

From Brazil, always had a kick for exploring the world, but things really took off once I headed to Germany for an internship in 2003. Since then, my life has been driven by the sense and possibilities of discovery. Discovery about people, places and, most importantly, myself.

In 2004 I spent 6 months in London learning English, bartendering, and getting impressed with nationalities and peoples I never thought existed. I also saved money to head to my first trip to Asia, my big dream at that time. With my hardly-earned money I could afford 2 months among Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia. Those were time and money well spent.

Early 2005: back to Brazil, finishing school and preparing for more "discoveries". I had been accepted for a Masters program in the University of Manitoba and would soon take off to Canada, so better explore my own territory beforehand.

Early 2006: Backpacking in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and the Brazilian Northeast. Simply amazing.

May 2006: Canada, here I come!
Since then, intense learning through classroom and lots of extracurricular activities. For the trips, check my picasa link :)

January 2009: Switzerland, now in the heart of Europe!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even though I have traveled extensively in nearly 40 countries, I haven't yet participated as a couh surfer. However, my friends rave so much about this initiative that I can only move myself and try it out in my next trip!
