I'm an online ESL teacher and a freelance writer living wherever I feel like it!
I've been living in Asia since I escaped the United States rental rates 4 years ago after graduating with a degree in Environmental Ethics and Policy from the University of Portland.
I started in rural Thailand, moved to Bangkok, then Myanmar, then Vietnam, and now Malaysia!
I've dropped into to over a dozen countries and gone through two passports along the way and collected a multitude of odd experiences and personal connections at the same time.
I have a ginger cat named Moneymaker that I picked up in Vietnam who is adorable but pretty dumb :P
I currently live in Penang, Malaysia (the beautiful weather and delicious food trapped me here!).
I love FOOD, fire, philosophy, movies, cooking, exploring, swimming, cats, history, and faking new identities in dive bars!

Favorite Music: Jazz (I played jazz vibraphone back in the day), weird stuff your friend showed you on youtube, and Coldplay (because I'm still a white female).
