I'm a magazine editor living in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood of Chicago with my pit bull, Raisin, and roommate, Erin.

I like to write, and I perform stand-up comedy sometimes.

Hip-hop is my favorite thing, followed closely by doughnuts and tacos.

We have a nice sized three bedroom apartment and a very large couch. If you stay with me, you should probably be cool with a 40-some pound dog wanting you to play with her a lot, though. I prefer to host Friday through Sunday because of my job. We are not currently accepting surfers, as we just moved in to a new place, but I'd love to show you around the city!

I'm not sure if it is amazing, but it was perfect as a moment in my life: I recently went to Hawaii for the first time. But I was there for work, which sucked, because I didn't have any opportunities to see much cooped up in a hotel. One afternoon, though, I managed to get away from my co-workers for a couple hours and spent 30 minutes floating in the ocean, right next to a damn volcano. It was a perfect 30 minutes.
