ABOUT ME

I left my job in fashion design and I'm currently embarking on a year long trip around the world. Trying to learn, explore, and absorb as much as possible while I plan my next endeavor which could include volunteering in fair trade in South America, learning Spanish, and potentially going back to school. For now I am enjoying global exploration and meeting wonderful people from all over the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A few years ago I hosted a few surfers in Seattle with my roommate. Now that Im traveling I hope to do some surfing myself!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting has meant that I've had the opportunity to meet amazing people from all over the globe. As a traveler I have participated in a few meet ups through couchsurfing and made some friendships that will last a lifetime. So far It's been incredible being a part of the couchsurfing community.

Intereses

Art, design, architecture, photography, music, and film of all sorts. I love anything innovative and creative. Good food, wine, and beer particularly shared with good company. Also traveling, reading, learning and talking to anyone and everyone!

Música, películas y libros

All sorts, but especially....
-Music: Bon Iver, Beach House, Sigur Ros, Grizzly Bear, Wilco, Justin Townes Earl, and local artists from Seattle.
-Film: Moulin Rouge and anything from Baz Luhrmann, Documentaries and anything thought provoking, Foreign Language films, also a sucker for The Notebook.
-Books: The Great Gatsby, Ishmael, everything I've read from Bill Bryson.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I was in Varanasi India during the 2011 Lunar Eclipse. It was absolutely incredible witnessing hundreds of people gathering at the Ganges River for this holy event and watching as the masses celebrated and splashed in the water in the moments when the moon disappeared.
