Music, Movies, and Books

I like some movies like Billy Eliot because the guy is so self driven to do what he wants, that he is able to stand up to his small community in England and show them that he could be a dancer and he believed in himself, which in turn made other people believe in themselves too. So I strongly believe in this thing about being honest to yourself, and then by attraction, helping others be true to themselves too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the most amazing thing Ive done so far was to take the chance of traveling to Rumania in 2006 and making it to this little town in the middle of nowhere, were my family in Mexico originally came from, about 150 years ago, and then bumping into this old lady who happened to be my grandma's cousin. Then staying at her house and watching her pull out old pictures from her drawer and seeing my own grandmother in one of them.

Teach, Learn, Share

OK, so what I would like to show other people is that no matter how small or trivial it seems, people interacting in a spirit of freedom and equality have the capacity to empower themselves by building bonds of empathy and coordinated action. But trust needs to be built first, in a spontaneous and natural way, with no particular drive. Just the open, good intended nature of human connection makes miracles possible.
