I'm currently teaching at an International School in Chiang Mai. Prior to that I was doing postgraduate work in Cambridge and taught at a university in the Middle East. I lived in Bangkok before that, and London before that, working as a photographer, bar manager and various other jobs.

I like to think I'm an open-minded, friendly, kind and courteous chap, with a good sense of humour and a bad taste in t-shirts. I have no allergies, have 20-20 vision and can run long distances. Just so you know.

In terms of my own philosophy, i am slowly working it out, but here's what i've learned thus far (excuse the cliches) :

You can't live a great life sitting down thinking about stuff...you've gotta get your feet wet.
As a rule, the time and emotion which you bring to your endeavors is directly proportional to the satisfaction and happiness you get from them; this translates to:

Do Stuff. Be Energetic. Be Courageous. Be Loving. Be Joyful.
