I'm an open minded and humble person. And curious - there are countless things that interest me. I especially love science, acoustic folky blues, european and artistic cinema, trekking, good fiction and writing.

But I am happiest when I find myself on the road, travelling with my backpack, with no predetermined route, thinking where to go next and how to get there. I really enjoy trekking, hiking and I prefer small villages over crowded towns.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I live and travel with my girlfriend, Karin. When possible, we prefer to camp in our small tent. In bigger cities, though, we count on couchsurfing hosts, who will be of course always welcome at our home in Slovenia.

- Missed a big flight and got stuck on an airport for 3 days (and nights)
- Sold 30 pancakes in Cusco on the streets to afford a big dinner
- Walked the Santa Cruz trail near Huaraz, Peru, in 4 days with all of our equpment and all the rain there is
- Lived with a remote cumminty in northern Laos for a couple of days
- Survived downhill bycicle ride down the World Most Dangerous Road near La Paz, Bolivia
- Got lost and walked straight into a dangerous Colombian barrio on the first day in South America
- Tried a lot of unusual dishes in Morroco and got a severe food poisoning
- Got caught in the worst snowstorm in New York history (2015)
