Overview
About Me
I am a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines working as a teacher at a high school. I am addicted to travel: I have also lived in Jerusalem, Thailand, and Vietnam, in addition to traveling to a number of other countries. When I’m in the States I am a professional anthropologist with training in archaeology, so I really dig meeting new people! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to learn about different people and their varying perspectives across the world-- and I would love to make new friends along the way and share a few beers!
Interests
Dark beers, classic rock, playing in the ocean, hugging trees.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to everything from classic rock to hip hop to country to house; I love hearing new music. I like cerebral movies and hate horror! I’m currently rereading all those great novels from high school that I never gave enough attention to before.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Conducted archaeological field research in Jerusalem.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don’t have any special skills to share, but I love to learn about other people, their opinions, and what brought them to those opinions, like their cultural context. So I’m very happy to learn!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good beer and great conversation! I'm just a girl in her early 20's, so I really have nothing to offer except my words, my gratitude, and my friendship. :)
