CURRENT MISSION

My mission? Oh, that's a hard one ! I guess my current mission will have to be something like: to be the best and happiest person I can be, to care and be cared for - and of course to become an excellent anthropologist ;)

ABOUT ME

I guess I'd describe myself as nice, relaxed, down-to-earth, openminded and easy going. I think my friends would say that I'm pretty caring and out going - and that I can be a bit of a control freak, but only because I want people to feel like somebody is looking out for them. As an anthropology student, I guess it's a given that I like to talk and meet new people and explore the world, and even though I'm pretty new at this whole couch surfing-thing, I've already talked to lots of great people, and I'm looking forward to meeting tons of new, interesting people.

PHILOSOPHY

Be the best you can be - it's a bit cheesy, I know, but nevertheless it what I'm trying to live up to. Which also means (at least to me it does) being open about feelings, emotions and sexuality - and that there should be room for everybody to be themselves and be happy and confident about it... oh, and also "there is no such thing as "too much chocolate!" - its simply a question of how much milk you drink with it"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm really sorry, but I've moved since I first started couch surfing and taking people in - which means 1: I don't have room to host anybody anymore and 2: I'm not allowed to have couch surfing visitors anymore - house rules! But then, I keep moving around, so I might open up "business" again later on.

Interests

People - like I said, I enjoy learning about new things, happenings, people and cool stuff about other cultures/populations. Also, I'm vegetarian (going on my 8th year) and I LOVE food - cooking included - and I'm always looking for new ideas and inspiration in the kitchen. I'm a bit of a fantasy and scifi-geek who loves reading (which means I have books are lying around everywhere) and I spend most vacations curled up in the couch with an old book. Recently I've gotten back into drawing, so right now all my hours are spent with a pen i my hand, trying to get better at drawing :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a sucker for Luc Besson-movies (Leon: the Professional in peticular) and of course fantasy and sic-fi-movies!
I always listen to music and I love blues, but pretty much listen to anything. I have a soft spot for british rock/pop, french reggae and music which is a sampling between new and old. Well, as long there's a nice beat, I'm pretty much into it.
And as for books, well, everything from adventure to american classics !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

haha, I don't do 'amazing' - I only see it! Might not be entirely true, but visit me or invite me to stay at your's and I'll tell you - I might have a brilliant story or two up my sleeve ;)
