My partner Phil and I have just become self-appointed boat rats. We have abandoned life on shore in April 2016 and now are happily residing on a beautiful 33 feet yacht in the heart of Wellington - Chaffers Marina.

It has been a long time dream of Phil's to travel to Europe and being from New Zealand did require a lot of careful planning. But here we are finally doing it, how exciting!!!!

In our view there is no better way to explore culture than to meet and get to know people. Couchsurfing offers this very unique ability to mingle and help each other.

We hosted a few people about 7 years ago. Looking forward to adding back to the community after our trip to Europe. And honestly... what would be better than offering people to stay on our beautiful boat in the middle of the lovliest capital in the world :)

Intereses

Contemporary literature, I run one of the largest readers' groups in Wellington New Zealand (Pensive Faust). Work hard, love my carbon fibre racing bicycle and of course we both are into sailing ... BIG TIME.

And most importantly, cooking, lots and lots of yummy food.
