To learn more about cultures by actually meeting people. It doesn't matter if it's the same culture as the place where you live, or a different one, I just want to get to know you better, whoever you are.

I'm currently on a year long trip around Asia, which means I won't be able to host people since I don't actually have a home, but also that I can meet a lot of people in their own country!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

(classic) rock, jazz, classical (especially Mozart's Lacrimosa), sometimes country or even pop.

My favorite book is the Black Jewels trilogy, which is fantasy, but recently I'm usually reading Haruki Murakami books or English literature.

And finally movies: I usually like drama, fantasy and science fiction, but depending on my mood it could be comedy, horror, action movies. Usually I like movies with a twist more than the simpler ones though

I love learning about other cultures which is my main reason for traveling. Learning (words in) different languages is a lot of fun too. And of course I don't mind sharing things about Dutch culture or language either.

Interesting conversation (at least when I'm not tired or hungry) and good food if you have a full spice cabinet and a nearby market
