Hi!

I'm living in Bremerhaven, Germany, since 2011.

I like cycling (cross-country) and driving. Also do hiking, bouldering, skiing if it fits my vacation plans :)

I'm interested a lot in a history in general, but especially in WWII and Roman Empire.

From time to time I turn my attention to other hobbies, such as RC modelling or old-school PC games (from the 1990s).

I have never been to South/North America, Africa, Australia, Antarctica or the Far East.

My intention for being part of the couchsurfing community is to meet new people, find fellow travelers, and experience spontaneous and unplanned adventures, which does not mean crazy extreme, however :)

Cycled 178 km in 13 hours from Bremerhaven to Hannover.

Drove 7000 km to the North Cape and back in 17 days (in summer).
And hope to do it again in winter.

I can make pancakes :) When I travel by car, I take a frying pan, mixer, bowl, ladle and spatula. The ingredients are usually easy to find everywhere.
