About Me

Hi! My name is Alexey and I m 27 years old. I work as software developer in a large and nice company, located in friendly and cosy city of Minsk, Belarus. I love to travel and feel the vibe of new places. Also I'm a huge petrolhead and love driving fast and visiting some amateur racing events and timeattacks.

I m faily new here, so I dont have much of a feedback. Thats why you can check our my Airbnb profile, got lots of rating there

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Each year I am increasing a quantity of my trips. Started from 1 in 2015, I did more than 10 trips in current 2018 year and already have 9 planned trip just for a half of 2019. More trips - more meets, more greets and more friends. Seeing and exploring different cultures is priceless and gives a great personal development by the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh, that would be hard to answer. As for know, I can definitely name some bands I like and which concerts I have visited:
- 21 Pilots
- Mumford & Sons
- Of Monsters & Men
- London Grammar
- The XX
- M83
and much, much more

As for movies, I just name some of my favourite tv shows, which helped me a lot to improve my English and (I hope!) my sense of humour)) That would be The Office, The Big Bang Theory, Futurama, Scrubs, Friends. Some serious stuff like Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul can also steal a bit of my heart and attention.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first trip was the largest one - I drove 5500km and visited 7 countries in 2 weeks. With no experience whatsoever, this was both hard and very nice trip. That was the time I realized it's impossible to live a colorful life without travelling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an avid cooker and love to cook some new recipes. So I always can make a tasty meal of different cuisines - an Italian pasta, a hot spicy Thai soup, a proper Ceasar salad, Belarussian draniki, etc. I'm huge fan of grill, craft beers and hot peppers - if you know words such as 'habanero, jolokia, jalapeno, IPA, Imperial Stout and medium-rare', we ll definitely find what to talk about!

Also I love to explore new local cuisines and find some interesting restaurants. Even if I come to the city for the 1st time, I always prepare a list of intresting food joints to visit. In 9 out of 10 cases they are pure gastronomic diamonds!

And, if you are a petrolhead as well, you can always count of timeless talks about cars and stuff. I love to drive and driving a car in a each new country I visit - is a must do and really gives you a vibe of a country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Actions I wrote below are obviously not the only ones we can find in common. Music, movies, travel stories, bar hopping and cocktails making - there is a whole universe inside each of us!
