Heya! Nice to meet you! I'm researcher in microtechnology currently living in Belgium.
I'm originally from Russia, have been living in France for eight years and Germany for two years. I'd like to discover more of it either by travelling around or welcoming people here. I can speak French and English pretty fluently, I'm learning Mandarin Chinese (coming along very slowly though - A2/B1 level); my German isn't bad and my Dutch allows me to order a pint in a pub. I am new to the CouchSurfing community and my stay in Manchester is going to be my first CouchSurfing experience.
