ABOUT ME

We are low maintenance; enjoy the quiet; love nature; good listeners (could tell a good story:). We are politically aware, and would like to help end poverty in the world. We read the New York Times. Vegetarian, love red wine and good chocolate. We like to eat anything with garlic and olive oil, and salad and broccoli are up there as favorite foods, although pizza also strikes our fancy! David is a wonderful cook. He teaches government at the University of Texas; we both like to be on our own, rather than be escorted around town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Sasha stayed with Erin and Scott in Nashville, TN, and couldn't ask for a better experience! It was my first time couchsurfing, and I have told many friends about it. David and Sasha have stayed in Denver, Colorado, Sonoma, CA - all great experiences.

Interests

Hiking, bike riding, movies, cooking, eating, discussing politics, getting to know people and hearing their stories.
David enjoys plays, live music, museums.

We have both recently started playing Petanque, and loving it!

We have gone to the Sundance Film Festival several time, and we really enjoy seeing documentaries.

Driving from Porto, Portugal through the Douro Region, into Spain. wow...
