Music: Jazz, Blues, Rock, Classical.

Movies: I like movies that try to capture life as it is: an incomplete, indefinite (and sometimes meaningless) experience. And I like movies that try to do just the opposite: to present life as such a marvelous experience that surpasses our understanding: Memento, The English Patient, The Fountain, Let the right one in, 12 Monkeys, District 9, The Matrix etc

T.V. Shows: Boardwalk Empire, Friends, True Detective, Justified, GoT, Seinfeld etc

Writers: French, Russian, South American and, more recently, Japanese literature (Gothic, Southern Gothic, Magical Realism). But my favorite writer remains William Faulkner.
