Travelling Argentina

ABOUT ME

I studied chemistry in Germany, France and a bit in Spain, finished my PhD in Germany and now I'm travelling around Argentina. When I was a kid I said that I wanna go out and see the world, and I'll stay at the place I love the most. So as often as I get the chance, I go somewhere else, on holidays, weekend trips or internships, to see as many places as possible and the people that live there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I couldn't host anybody yet. I traveled a lot around and when I was at home I was quiet busy with my studies. I thougth this would change when I start my PhD, but unfortunately it didn't.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did CS in Spain, Portugal and New Zealand, and it was a great experience. I never imagined people being so nice, friendly and open with strangers. They all made me feel like home and showed me the best of their town/region. I think CS is really the best way to get to know another country, town, culture and it's people.

Interests

Besides taking fotos, horseback riding, reading, hiking, learning languages, arts, red wine, cheese, I'm a big fan of chocolate and all sweet stuff ;) I like traveling around, talking, laughing, getting to know other countries, cultures and thier people, watching animals, looking at some beautiful mountains, lakes or hills for hours and sometimes just doing nothing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a bit of everything, depending on my mood, as long as it's no typical "holiday book for women" with lovestory, drama and kissing in the sunset at the end.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I think the most amazing thing I've seen is Iceland. You can spend days walking around over hills and valleys, pass by beautiful waterfalls with rainbows, spend hours sitting in hotpots or walk along the glacier lagoons. On top of all this are the northern lights. It's difficult to describe the feeling when the whole sky is dancing in green or violet; it was one of the best things.
