Overview
About Me
I'm a french engineering student completing my masters in Computer Science. I moved from Lyon (France🥖) to Montreal 🍁 in September 2023 and had a wonderful time so far (even in the winter❄️).
I'm pretty outgoing, I like meeting new people, especially from other cultures and background. Despite working as a research scientist, I support degrowth and tend to be quite critical about technology 🌱. I'm still forming my opinion so I'm very open to talk about these subjects.
I love bouldering (currently climbing V5 - V6) 🧗, biking 🚴, hiking 🥾, cinema 🎥 and comics 🗯️ (more visual novels than superheroes but both are fine).
I also played handball as a goalkeeper 🤾, passed my first level of diving 🤿, tried hockey 🏒 and baseball ⚾ and played competitive chess when I was a child ♟️.
Recently I also gained interest towards digital arts : text art, demoscene, live coding, generative art... 💽
Most of all I'm curious and will be interested in learning about or trying anything new :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Last year I traveled from France to Georgia (6500km) in one month with a friend. We hitchhiked and couchsurfed most of the times. It was our first time couchsurfing, we met many incredible people and had many amazing experiences.
Now, I’m planning to travel once again—this time on my own and to the other side of the world. 🌎
PS: My friend continued to travel so he kept our CS account, we had 8 recommendations together. You can find them here: https://couchsurfing.page.link/pikFX29hN5tc64P48.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During our trip to Georgia with my friend, we had to hitchhike by night in the middle of Turkey. We arrived at 10pm in a small city with nowhere to stay for the night. Luckily we found a group of Turkish friends who took us to a sort of cabin in the suburbs of the city. As soon as we got inside, we heard the sound of a chainsaw behind us and had the fear of our lives. In fact our hosts were just cutting some wood to keep us warm during the night and it ended up being one the nicest stay of the trip !
