I'm a full-time college student who is currently on summer vacation. I have a full-time job this summer in LA and classes in the evening, but my weekends are free! I've lived in LA for 2 years now as a student. I'm excited to use this summer vacation to explore my city more and do some traveling.

During the summertime, I love to swim in the ocean and surf. I also like to climb (normally indoor bouldering) and to hike. I love to play video games and I'm currently working on learning how to make my own video games. I'm an aspiring software engineer, currently working on 2 bachelor's degrees. I also love to watch anime and Netflix. I'm a lifetime musician; I play the piano, French horn, and violin. To relieve stress and exercise, I practice kung fu, martial arts, and kickboxing.

I've been lucky enough to see the world, having traveled to 40 countries. I would love to pay it forward!

I have more free time this summer since the semester is over. I've always lived by the saying "a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet." I think this is a good opportunity to get to know my own city a bit more by hosting and also a good way to travel the world.

I live in a single dorm room. I don't have any roommates, but I do have 2 other housemates who I share a bathroom with. I can offer a free meal in my dining hall and a hot shower. You can sleep on my bed (I'll change the sheets, of course!) or if you're comfortable with the floor, we can throw down a sleeping pad and a bunch of blankets and a body pillow. I have a car so I can drive somewhere if needed and there's free parking at my school where I live.

I've studied classical piano for 13 years, but I decided to switch it up in college, so now I'm learning jazz improv. I love jazz and I love classical. I listen to all kinds of genres though. A few of my favorite artists are Borns, Oh Wonder, Charlie Puth, Khalid.

I love movies and TV shows that involve superheroes. My all-time favorite TV show is Rick and Morty. My favorite genre is science fiction.

My favorite books include The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Ender's Game, and Fahrenheit 451.

I'm a cognitive science and computer science major doing research in artificial intelligence. If you want to learn any basic coding, hit me up. I also play the piano, violin, and French horn so I can teach people that.

I studied Spanish all through high school, but it's become really rusty now in college. I could use some practice!
