I'm Alexis. I am a trained actor, an aspiring professional photographer, eventual self-published poet, and a tarot enthusiast. I've recently embarked on the start of my self-growth journey in search of a life more aligned with the highest version of myself. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am trying to move to New Jersey, but I've been having some difficulty securing living arrangements there from my current location in Virginia. It's also pretty hard to get a job interview anywhere when I'm 400+ miles away... So I am searching for a few places in the area to surf between for the next month (give or take a couple of weeks) while I start a new job and find a place to call home. I'm not looking for just a free place to stay or someone to freeload off of. I'm interested in meeting awesome people with similar interests that I can share cool experiences with and maintain connections with after surfing.

Books: I enjoy poetry books, self-growth books, any John Green novel, Melt by Selene Castrovilla, Shakespeare and Tennessee Williams plays are always a good read

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can read your cards (tarot), share my poetry, take some creative portraits of you, help out around the house, and I can cook for you (I don't know how to make a whole lot of things and, for some reason, most of the things I can make are Mexican dishes, but I'd love to make something for you)! I can also offer joy and happiness with my adorable, sweet, loving, playful puppy who will surely steal your heart from the moment you meet her!
