Works at a non-profit arts organization. Previously worked in service learning programs in positive development and public health with AmeriCorps by day, for leisure, practices yoga, runs, reads, draws, volunteers, explores the local culture and wilder places, and kicks it with her male friend – a dog with many nicknames.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in La Serena, Chile, Pucón, Chile, Punta Arenas, Chile, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, Medford, Oregon, and had great experiences with all of my hosts.

Interests

I like to yoga, hike, run, garden, snowboard/ski, camp, backpack, and some. Learning about different cultures. I've held internships in Santiago, Chile, working on a sustainable development project, and in Santa Cruz, Ca, helping resolve barriers to housing with people experiencing homelessness. I also interned with the Democracy Council in Los Angeles, Ca, working with the Latin American department on independent, community-based media projects with Cuban communities on the island and abroad. I've been a research assistant focusing on agro-ecology in Peru.
