Disclaimer: This is for staying at my parent's house up in the North Nechacko area. It's about 10kms out of town, but it serviceable with public transit (from spruceland center), and a 25 minute walk. I am just up here from the coast for December in their oversized house and they semi agreed to open it up for some couchsurfing as well. Just know this is hanging out in a family environment in the middle of nature.

I have recently returned to Canada after being abroad for the past two and half years. This was a trip mainly purposed at sailing, Spanish and spiritual exploration. I enjoyed using Couch surfing during this trip, it seems a nice way to meet locals as well as make some really good friends.

Other things that make me tick:

-I try to be environmentally aware of the impacts of my lifestyle.
-Biking is important to me. A good bike explore is one of my simplest pleasures, coupled with drinking beer in trees.
-The outdoors and trees and wildlife. When I travel, I try to get to places with fun hikes and pretty views.

Id like to say I am a pretty good host and guest. I love making food for people and will try to whether they are staying with me, or I with them. I'm very tidy and respectful of other people's space, and try to impose as little as possible, requiring very little maintenance as a visitor.

It's a great way to meet the local people and get the inside scoop on a place, as well as an opportunity for cultural sharing.
