Hi everyone, my name is Alex. I was born and raised in the mexican city of Veracruz, but now living in Mexico City. I started to travel the world when I studied abroad in Spain in 2013, then made several trips around Europe and Latinamerica.

I consider myself a very easygoing guy, who never stops dreaming and never stops learning.

I started when a friend of mine told me about it before heading to Europe for the first time, then I just became addicted! So far I've had the pleasure to host more than 50 surfers in Mexico and Spain. Also I've made it several times as a surfer in Europe and South America.

I love sharing a meal, a beer, a coffee, a glass of wine. I like cooking, dancing, hiking, talking. So yep, I'm up for many different things.

Les Misérables is my favorite book. About movies, I like Christopher Nolan's, Tarantino's, Daren Aronofsky's, Lars Von Trier's, Gaspard Noe's, Luis Estrada's, Gonzalez Iñarritu... Any music is fine, I tend to latin rythms (cumbia, salsa, reggaeton), but also into pop, EDM, rock and some oldies.

Watching my skeleton shadow's reflected in a Maya temple's wall, partying with Bob Sinclair for free in Ibiza, getting my head shited by a pigeon under the Eiffel Tower, surviving a storm into a tent next to lake Titicaca, hitchhiking in the middle of a salar desert, crossing Argentina-Chile border on a truck, being confused with Alexis Sanchez in Copenhague, watching the Milky Way in the Sahara Desert, swiming naked in the freezing Baltic Sea, losing my tent after a storm in Iceland, hearing the night wildlife in the Amazonia, crossing a favela on a motorbike in Rio, watching a glacier calving in Chilean Patagonia, getting into the wrong airplane on a Greek island...
