My name is Alexis from Mallorca (Balearic Islands). I´m an active and an energetic person who constantly tries dont get settled and to kill the bored monotony of daily routine that tries to ensnare us. That´s why a few month ago I decided to quit my job as engineer and I gave up the confortable life I had. Now I´m traveling as much as I can.

Nowadays I´m travelling South East Asia. Currently Im in Philippines, planing to go to Malasya, India, Nepal....

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I tried Couchsurfing some years ago and the experience was great. I prefer to know how the local life is, more than the tourist one. To sleep in a hostel with people from around the world is also nice, but you can do it whenever everywhere.

兴趣

I love meeting new people and learn more about new places and cultures. Looking through the eyes of different people and cultures is the best way to know how wonderful is the diversity in the world, so one become more self-critical, open-minded, tolerant and respectful.

I love reading, the outdoor games-sports, the beach, the sea, talking, to enjoy a beautifull and peaceful landscape, etc. but sometimes I also like go out at night time, partying, drinking beer and get fun.

音乐、电影和书籍

I´m music and reading addict.

Music: Jazz, Blues, Ethnic Music, Reggae, Afro-Cuban Rithms, Latin sounds, Soul, Funky... Good music in general, but black music more than others styles.

Books: Philosophy, Anthropology, Sociology, Yoga and meditation books. Nowadays I´m trying to do an effort to read some classic novels, but it´s not easy. :S

Movies: I dont use to watch tv/movies but I prefer thrillers, action movies and comedies. I dont use to like Science Fiction or Terror Movies.

I gave up the confortable life and job I had for 10 years . Instead a boring and chained lifestyle I decided to make my life more free and exciting. So now I´m traveling, meeting new people everywhere, and learning more about the joy of simple life.
