About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel and learn 'real' and practical skills that will allow me to live a sustainable and balanced life. Also I want to learn and participate in real local community life.

ABOUT ME

I always find it hard describing myself and its always subjective but I'll try my best! I'm 30 years old, born and raised in London to Filipino parents. A year ago I quit my job in the social care sector where I was coordinating a domiciliary care service. Being an idealist and seeing how this area of work was being underfunded and the elderly neglected for the benefit of the free market made me feel frustrated and unfulfilled. I started questioning life and that's when I decided to leave my job. Inspired by a friend to go travelling I decided to do the craziest thing I could think of, and that was to go on a cycle tour of Asia solo - the best decision of my life! People say travelling opens are your eyes to the world and it truly does! And not just to the world but to life and how special it is. I can say I have now found myself and how I want to live this life. During my travels I learnt about many things from spirituality, love for people and nature, permaculture, earthen building, sustainability, and best of all, how to take it slow and enjoy every moment in life.
Now I am back home in the UK but it is if my journey hasn't stopped, and so I plan to continue to learn practical and real skills that will allow me to make a better difference in the world through sustainable methods of living and caring for others.

PHILOSOPHY

I say this from my experience whilst travelling.. Everything in life is connected, you, me, plants, and the animals. We should love and take care of each other.
