ABOUT ME

Adaptable and easygoing.

At the moment, I commute between the cities of Gyumri and Yerevan in Armenia, where I teach writing courses at two universities in those respective cities.

I also own a bar in Yerevan called STATION located at Parpetsi 24. The name was not my idea, but the place is pretty cool (if smoky, but that's hard to avoid in Armenia). We now have around 20+ board games, and a happy hour where you can get cañas of draft beer for about $0.50

I like media that makes us question our values or pre-conceived notions, but I don't like to be preached to... I like anything where the attention to detail is so great that it is obvious that this was a labor of love. I have a special affinity for magical realism.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

There was this one place that I visited off the coast of Norway at the right time of year where the sun never went down... it just kept dropping slowly and hung there and then began to rise again around 2 a.m. I was only twelve and don't remember what it was called, but I"ll always remember having my mind blown by that.
